ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Since 2001 Gw/oB has brought together globally minded foundations, individual donors, global Southern activists, and allies in philanthropy for an annual conference. Join us this June in New York City to discuss and debate grantmaking practices, and explore the critical issues facing grassroots communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America today. Gw/oB's conference will also provide ample time to network, share experiences and build relationships with peers and allies in grantmaking.
You will have more than 30 workshops and sessions to choose from, on two tracks:
- grantmaking practice, to build capacity on such skills as monitoring and evaluation, grantor-grantee relations, and collaborative grantmaking.
- social change and social justice, to explore some of the most urgent issues facing grassroots communities today.
Extended workshops will be designed for grantmakers working in Africa, Asia, Meso-America and Haiti.
